TIPs-PR: Extending TIPs for immune engineering

We are expanding the Translator-Interpreter Pre-seeding (TIPs) framework into the field of immune engineering, opening exciting opportunities for Filipino students and early-career researchers. This extension applies machine learning and synthetic biology techniques to model and optimize immune system components, work that could inform future advances in immunotherapy design and synthetic immune circuits.

This initiative builds on our early success using TIPs for genomic sequence representation, now adapted to tackle more complex biocomputational challenges. Selected fellows will gain practical experience in ML-driven computational biology while contributing to ongoing research, with opportunities for co-authorship in future publications.

This is a remote, non-institutional collaboration aimed at producing tangible results by the end of this year or early next year. It is ideal for students with a background or strong interest in programmable biology.
